Poet shares laughs, passion for reading with N-P students |

 Last week I visited Nashua-Plainfield Elementary School in Nashua, Iowa, and had a blast sharing poetry and writing techniques with the students, from Kindergarten through fourth grade. In the evening I even had a chance to speak to the kids and their parents at a community family event at the school. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of families that came to the event, even though it was the height of the harvest season in the middle of the corn belt. Thanks N-P for a great day!
