Yesterday I had a wonderful time visiting Central Elementary in Calhoun, Louisiana.  The kids were terrific, and we had a wonderful time creating and sharing poetry.  The local newspaper, The News-Star, even wrote this article about my visit:

Students at Central Elementary in Calhoun could hardly get their hands in the air fast enough or contain their excitement long enough to tell children's poetry author Kenn Nesbitt their ideas.

The kids had a once in a lifetime opportunity and they were not about to miss it.
